Feature management and experimentation are related but not identical
Unleash is strongest when release control, kill switches, gradual rollouts, and engineering governance are the core need. GrowthBook is stronger when the team wants a combined OSS-friendly flags-and-experiments stack. Eppo is stronger when experimentation rigor and warehouse-native analysis are central. LaunchDarkly and Statsig remain useful benchmarks at the more polished commercial end of the category.
That distinction is what keeps teams from overbuying. The right question is not only who has flags, but whether the hard problem is release safety, experimentation depth, or organizational experimentation workflow.
