LangGraph Platform belongs in the catalog because it addresses the moment where a LangGraph prototype has to become a real deployment. LangChain’s current product packaging routes this through LangSmith deployment and platform pricing, but the underlying buying decision is still very recognizable: do you want a managed platform for long-running LangGraph agents with built-in observability, auth, state, and production controls.
That is a meaningful stack layer. A lot of teams are comfortable building agents with frameworks, but deployment is where the actual operational friction begins.
