Editorial take
Why it stands out
Pick pay-as-you-go vs fixed based on command variance—Upstash docs emphasize this tradeoff. Prod Pack is a material add-on—include it in enterprise comparisons.
Tool profile
Serverless data platform for Redis, queues, vector search, and durable workflows over HTTP.
Serverless functions needing low-latency KV/cache
Upstash sells serverless Redis, QStash queues, Workflow, Vector, Search, and Box with per-product pricing pages.
upstash.com/pricing for Redis (March 2026) lists Free at $0 with 256 MB data, 500,000 commands/month, 10 GB bandwidth, and community support. Pay as you go charges about $0.20 per 100,000 commands with $0.25 per GB-month storage, up to 100 GB data and unlimited bandwidth on the marketing table. Fixed plans start at $10/month for 250 MB with no per-command charge, 50 GB bandwidth, and optional +$200/month “Prod Pack” add-on for SLA/RBAC/SOC2 integrations on the same page. Enterprise is custom for HIPAA, higher QPS, and private links.
Other surfaces (Vector, Workflow, QStash) each have dedicated pricing pages under upstash.com—do not assume Redis prices apply.
