Editorial take
Why it stands out
Vercel Analytics is easiest to justify when the team already sees Vercel as the center of the frontend platform and wants analytics to follow that same shape.
Tool profile
Vercel's web analytics product with event-based pricing, plan-specific retention, and tight integration with deployed frontend projects.
Website and frontend analytics for Vercel-hosted projects
Vercel Analytics is a strong directory addition because it represents the increasingly common model of platform-native analytics: not a huge standalone analytics suite, but an analytics layer embedded directly in a deployment platform. That makes it especially relevant for frontend teams already running on Vercel who want traffic, custom event, and performance-adjacent analytics without assembling a separate analytics stack immediately.
Its pricing is explicit and event-based. Hobby includes 50,000 events per month for free. On Pro, additional events cost $3 per 100,000 events, and teams can optionally add Web Analytics Plus for $10 per month per team to unlock a longer reporting window and extra features. Enterprise is custom. The important nuance is that Vercel also notes these scripts can drive extra Data Transfer and Edge Request usage, which means analytics cost may not exist entirely in one neat line item.
